Transfer braid from reel to reel

Happy New Year to All,
I searched the net but couldn't find what I'm looking for and hope some one can help, I have 80W spooled with 150lb Powerpro hollow core and wish to spool this to another reel.
Question is what is the best way to spool onto another 80W, should I simply set the drag on the reel with braid to have enough resistance and wind onto the new reel so it packs tight.
Can I just spool from reel to reel or should I run through the guides?
