Default Blue or Black, which is it?

Question, the pic below is it a blue or black marlin? My wife caught the fish out of Tropic Star last august, we thought it was blue at the time, but now not so sure.

thanks Keith, The pic is in the new Guy Harvery book "panama Paradise" which is why I was wondering if it was blue or black. My wife caught that fish int he last 45 minutes of the last day of last trip to tropic star last august.

Ive confirmed it as a black. the bill (wider and shorter) dorseal fin shape and the jump style all are that of the black.
