Default Spread for smaller fish

Happy New Year!

If you fish in an area that has wahoo, mahi, smaller blues, sails, and white marlin, what lures and/or spread would you run to maximize your catch?

Thanks for your help!

I fished the Marshall Islands for a number of years and we used lures that took 9inch skirts most of the time. Most folks call these medium size lures. 9/0 or 10/0 hook \. We did extremely well catching mahi, yft, wahoo from 10lbs to 30lbs and blues to 400 on these lures.

Everything rigged with cable on the hookset because of the wahoo.

I realy liked the second smallest mirrored beauty
second smallest projet
second smallest sprocket
big rock plunger
rpp
mini 1656 flat or angled,,,caught more on the flat for some reason

I fished shark infested waters so my speed was fast enough to avoid the sharks at 9/10 knots and we came back with a cooler full everyday. Short 10 foot leaders made it easier to handle on a small boat with outboards. 400# moimoi or the cheap stuff from Hawaii.

I fish in the northern Gulf of Mexico and our situation is just as you describe, I can tell you that the Sprocket and mini 1656 are the two best lures I pull.
