Default marlin lures

can anyone tell me what type of resin i should use for pouring marlin lures i have used silmar 41 from illstreet but having a hard time with it messing up my insert with has tape on it and sometimes messes up the eyes

OK..... I use CLEAR CASTING RESIN which I buy from my supplier. The brand I am using i am not sure. It gives me a super clear finish after sanding and polishing.
I have also found that some plastic materials you can use for effects on the inserts reacts with the liquid resin. It will be trial and error to find material which does not get effected. The thicker the adhesive plastic effect material used the less chance of reaction with the resin.
