07/05/2006: "Wish I'd Have Thought of That ..."

We all have those days when we think, "Gee - I wish I didn't have to go to work today." Hell, I'm having one today. But when I have them, I always end up going in anyways, because I can never think of a good enough excuse to stay home.

Next time, though, I'm going to try the excuse given recently by a British Airways crew in New York ... "the hookers were too loud" ...

The cabin crew claimed their doors at an undisclosed hotel didn't lock and that pimps and prostitutes kept trying to enter their rooms throughout the night.

Their claim forced the cancellation of a New York-London flight, and Sky News said the airline was originally sympathetic to the claims, but had second thoughts.

"Nine other crew stayed at the same hotel and all reported fit and well for work the next day," said an airline spokeswoman. "An investigation is continuing to find out all the facts."

And you thought your neighbors sucked ...
