07/11/2006: "Now That's Good TV ..."
The down side of being hilarious is that it takes a lot to make me laugh. This is particularly true when it comes to TV - eeech! Two shows that can get a giggle out of me periodically are The John Stewart Show and it's over-the-top spin-off, The Colbert Report.
Most folks don't know it, but before becoming the political "reporter" on John Stewart, Colbert starred with Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello in a largely-unwatched Comedy Central show called "Strangers With Candy". The show didn't last, but the three managed to get it into movie form which is now being released.
Last night on The Colbert Report, the three of them held a most unusual reunion that simply must be watched. I dare you not to laugh ...
