09/06/2007: "Early Eye Candy"
Through some fluke of nature, I'm fishing two weekends in a row, so I won't be here on Friday to deliver the usual breakfast treat of Eye Candy. Now, I could just leave you to suffer, but what kind of host would I be then? So instead, you get it served up a day early.
This week, we actually have a fishing-related topic - and a hardcore one at that. Meet Candace Meyer, world record-holding offshore fisherman. Among her many accomplishments is catching the all-tackle world record bigeye tuna (370-lbs) in 2003, and the women's 20-lb record blue marlin - a 490-lber - in 2004, both in Ghana. You can tell just from her ... equipment ... that she's a serious fisherman. Surprising to see no Hays' Handle on that rig ...
She might have needed a little help from her plastic surgeon to fill out that bikini, but she'll never need anyone's help to bring in her fish!
