By now, you all know the story of how SCMO started out as a college project and ended up one of the web's preeminent fishing web sites. As our popularity has grown, so has the amount of server space, software and time and effort needed to keep it going. We remain committed to providing the best possible experience for our visitors, but you could sure make that task a lot easier ...

• Participate

The best way to support SCMO will always be by being an active participant. Send us a new Fish Tale, submit a Trip Report, email us your favorite fishing photos. This site will only be as good as the content it provides, and our visitors are the number-one source of new content.

• Contribute

We realize that not everyone has the time, talent or desire to write articles or take photos. We also understand that for some, the best way to support SCMO is with a check. The easiest way to do that is by joining the MarlinNut Angling Club, our member-supported section. Not only do you get access to our premium content, but your membership fee will help us keep this site going. Another way to provide financial support is by donation using the PayPal button on the front page of the site. You can donate to SCMO using your favorite credit card and the secure PayPal transaction system. If you choose to donate $50 or more, we'll throw in MNAC membership as a way of saying "thanks".

• Advertise

For a long time, merchants have wanted to advertise their product or service at SCMO, and now they can. Buy a banner ad, and you not only get the targeted market you are looking for, but you support the site as well. Of course, we still have our SCMO Sponsors program for individuals and those with smaller advertising budgets or needs.

• Purchase

If you'd like to see some kind of tangible return on your money, we understand - and can make that happen. You can buy a bumper sticker and, soon, additional SCMO merchandise. You can buy whatever you want from Amazon.com (just click on the logo on the front page), and we'll get a percentage of the transaction price. Same goes for subscribing to MARLIN magazine (also by clicking on the logo on the front page). It's a win-win situation.

• Evangelize

If nothing else, tell someone about us. Share us with your fishing buddies and coworkers. Use our Tell a Friend feature to pass our URL along to friends and relatives. Word of mouth is always our best advertising.
